What is PERLE? : Parent Enriching a Rapid Learner Education
(PERLE)
PERLE stands for Parents Enriching a Rapid Learner
Education. The purpose of this non-profit organization is to
enrich and support the Rapid Learner program. By
collecting and allocating the monies contributed by the parents, the
PERLE Committee supplements the academic program in various ways.
The purchase of additional equipment/materials for the classrooms,
additional Spanish instruction, math enrichment, and field trip
scholarships are examples of how these funds are spent.
The Committee is composed of an Executive Board,
classroom representatives, a teacher representative, and the Site
Administrator. The monthly meetings are open to all Rapid Learner
parents. Aside from having a financial agenda, these meetings
provide the forum for voicing concerns and facilitating discussion
about the education of our children.
